The primary goal in brain tumor surgery is to remove the entire tumor. The main goal here is not to cause any damage to the brain tissue, that is, to remove the entire tumor without affecting the normal tissue of the brain. For this reason, preoperative examinations are very important. Before the surgery, MRI images are taken and where the fibers in the brain advance from the tumor is examined, and the surgical approach to the tumor is determined accordingly. All technological instruments are used before surgery, one of which is neuronavigation. With this system, information on how deep the tumor is and how far it should be advanced during surgery can be obtained.
